難得的假日也跟朋友約好時間要一起出遊, 卻不幸在出發前發現天光不給力, 竟然斷斷續續降起雨來。相信這是很多台北人常見的煩惱, 不想白白浪費這難得相約的機會, 於是立馬改變計畫, 既然下雨天出門都會濕身了, 乾脆心一橫, 我們濕到底吧!......還會有甚麼比在冷冷濕濕的冬天裡泡湯來的更享受?...... 走! 選一天午後我們出發去野溪泡湯吧!
People say that Taipei is a raining city, I am without a doubt that's true. I think we all had the experience of planning a trip for a while and then when the day finally comes it start raining. Most people might choose plan B, stay in the house or do some indoor activities, but what if you are happiest in an outdoor setting like me? I am going to give you another choice. Since we will get wet eventually during a rainy day, we might as well go to river hot spring? Taiwan has so many beautiful places hidden in the mountains Just waiting for your exploration.
So come on, pick one afternoon to do something different, adventure and enjoy the hot sprigs.

偶爾你會看到一些害羞的山之嬌客們, 正泛起紅噗噗的臉頰, 藏匿在妳不經意的樹梢頭, 偷偷凝視著妳, 一如女子看到心儀之人, 臉上不由地泛起緋紅般那樣惹人憐愛。
Sometimes if you catch the right timing, you might be lucky to see the wild cherry blossoming around the whole mountain. I always said the color looks like a shy lady blushing on her face haha, soooo cute! :P |

台灣的山野櫻大多於2月中~3月盛開, 但今年冬天氣候異常, 花季似乎有比往年延遲些。
因為野溪的入口沒有任何指標, 我們來來回回地在附近徘迴繞了好久, 不小心變成了假文青的拍照時間, 哈哈....一度還在討論要不要換別的景點, 但是, 終於經過一番不放棄的波折, 終於讓我找到是哪條山路進入了! (開心~灑花)
Taiwan's wild cherry usually blossoms during mid Feb~March, but due to global abnormal weather last winter, it seems to be delayed a little this year. And the hot spring entrance(as you can see in the photo below)looks so normal without any particular signs. I wandered around a bit before finding the right path.
整條路包括入口, 都是像照片中那樣超級低調, 真的就跟一般山間小路一樣, 加上平日遊客不多, 只有當地人才知道怎麼走, 所以當我們走進山路時, 不少在地人都嚇到拼命問我們怎麼找到的
Finally I found the right entrance so now you can move your ass from the car seats and start do some exercise walking 15~20 mins. Come on I know is a piece of cake for you. Let's GO GO GO!
整個清澈可見底的溪谷都是我們的後花園
Let me seriously introduce my back garden - the whole valley hahaha.
As you can see the river is clean enough to even see the bed.
埋藏在叢草間的小瀑布A small waterfall hidden between the bushes.
路上不時會出現從地面冒出煙的景象, 但別擔心, 我摸過地面大多都是冰涼的, 只有少數地段有溫的泉水流經。但我去的時候是冬天且綿綿細雨, 所以夏天有可能會比較熱喔!
Here you can see the smoke in the air rising from the ground, but don't worry I have touched the ground many times.Mostly is quite cold, only few areas will be a little warm.
p.s. I came here in a little rain in winter so probably is cooler than summer.

| 這裡的溫泉屬於酸性硫磺鹽泉，呈現出乳白色的溫泉， 因此常被笑稱像是泡牛奶浴, 有少女心的女孩還在等什麼? |
早期是只有少數山友才知道的私房景點, 近年因為「口碑相傳」, 雖然目前仍被政府列為管制區, 但低調來朝聖的民眾卻不減反增, 甚至可以看到有民眾加裝人工spa水管做分池疏通。還有些民眾不惜摸黑上山晚上來夜泡, 但大家都很有默契的維護這裡的環境跟保持低調。
The hot springs here have a special white color thanks to contented acid sulfate (hydrosulphate). People usually tease saying it's like taking a milk bath in a river. At the beginning only a few hikers knew about it but since it's a easy track to conquer and near Taipei, before long it became more and more popular. It used to be open to the public (ages 20~30 years), some researchers don't recommend coming here due to the fragile geology of this area and the neighborhood resorts opposite it attracting too many tourist as well. Despite government ruling as a confined area many people still come here every day (low key).

這裡的溫泉是由火山地熱加熱溪水而形成, 加上豐沛的高溫水量, 所以常可以看到白煙緲緲的天然蒸氣spa在水面上, 根本是戶外三溫暖的享受昇級版2.0,不僅免費坐擁山林美景, 還有溪底更是蘊藏了不少的天然的白色火山泥, 讓妳泡湯不忘美容...(野溪沒有經過人工過濾, 完全純天然礦物質)
Speaking from personal experience, I will say this is undoubtedly one of the best ways of exploring deep Taiwan. Surely you have to see this before you go home. Imagine you are sitting in the comfort of warm temperature with white smoke rising in the air in front of your eyes and enjoy the river, mountains in the moment. What can I say? What a life!

| 基本上越靠近上頭熱源, 水會越燙喔!
The hot water source is quite stable and certainly 100% from nature.
Basically it will be hotter when you go higher near the source.

整個行程大約走15~20分鐘可到, 除了路面是石頭路沒有整平之外, 算是蠻平易近人的路線。路上碰到外國人奶奶都爬完準備要回去了, 問她好玩嗎? 她說超棒!!! 我朋友還很有種的穿....「夾腳拖!!」哈哈哈, 但走完全程, 回去那雙也快爆了! 還是良心建議務必穿好走的鞋子甚至雨鞋, 我是穿雨靴, 走起來比較不會滑, 當地人也大多都是穿半筒的雨鞋。
Generally speaking, it will takes 15~20 mins walking on the rock path. I will suggest you wear rain boots or sneakers to go hiking. You can wear whatever feels comfortable for you. (My dear brave friend only wore flip flops and she made it! But she walked very very slow ha), I say again, it's your choice.

| 這附近的火山地質脆弱, 又因風化有許多碎石, 不時可以看到告示牌, 要跟緊步伐小心行走喔! A sign warning people. |
需要注意的是, 因為野溪的溫度變化大, 自己也要隨時注意身體狀況, 每個人的體感溫度不同, 千萬不要硬泡太燙的池子。溫泉水溫最低有三、四十度，最高可以達到八十度。來這是要享受, 不是來做川燙白肉料理的。
As a reminder, outdoor hot springs sometimes might change the temperature quickly, please be aware of your body from time to time. We are here to enjoy not to boil your body okay?
